N-O-E-M-I - First steps

The following dates correspond to important evolutions of NOEMI since she was born:

24th, 25th & 26th of Septembre : NOEMI goes to the Maison de la Villette, and is exhibited at Villette Emergences festival, a part of the Villette Numerique event.

21st & 22nd of Septembre : Very first public presentation at IESA, during the 19th
european patrimony days.

30th of August: Private party with NOEMI. Only a few people had the opportunity to meet NOEMI.

29th of August : NOEMI moves to the 136 rue du Faubourg St Martin, to Thomas's flat. For the very first time, NOEMI is connected to an amplifier system.

27th of August : NOEMI has now more instruments, and has learned new songs. She's preparing for her first presentation.

26th of August: NOEMI has a new organ, a kind of eye. This eye is showing single colors, marking tempo, and human's play.

25th of August: NOEMI has 6 internal states, and can play different musical games. First photos.

23rd of August : Midi input is fully working, NOEMI recovers all of her capabilites.

21st August : NOEMI becomes ill, after loosing her midi input. She cannot perceive the world around. Tests are suspended.

17th of August 2002 : During musical games, NOEMI has the capability to answer to human players. She's beginning to learn improvisation. She can be contacted at:

15th of August 2002 : First experimenter, Emmanuel Jolivet. Beginning of the first test series.

14th of August 2002 : NOEMI was born in Paris (11 bis rue du Val de Grace). The same day she was connected to a Midi Keyboard - her first sensor. She's working on the famous Gershwin piece: My Favorite Thing.
